In the last month Poverest experienced 64 missed appointments where patients did not inform the practice they were not attending this equalled 16 hours of missed consultation time. We even experience on many occasions patients who have booked an appointment to be seen that day fail to attend.
Given patients often comment they are unable to obtain appointments, Poverest would not have an access problem if patients informed the practice they were unable to attend a pre-booked appointment.
We ask all patients have the courtesy to inform the practice if they are unable to attend their appointment
The practice will now consider removing those patients who regularly miss appointments from our patient list.
